Death of my marriage helped me deal with the death of my mother in a way I didn’t realize. I was able to grieve while still taking care of myself and my best wishes. Sometimes hardship has a positive purpose for the life you will live moving forward.

Indeed, taking care of our loved ones' final wishes is all we have left to do for them, making it very important to us.

The search for pleasure is innate, and we live in a time where more and more experiences and conveniences are available to us at a moment's thought. But often, just "setting sail" gives you the initial energy to eventually reach some other shore.

I agree. However, though the search for pleasure may be innate, so is the avoidance of pain. Because of this, we may never set sail.
